Overview

Make a consistent avatar from a photo you already have

Turn a photo into a square or circular profile image at the size you choose. Start with a centered subject, choose a background color, and download a PNG or WebP avatar. The photo is processed locally with no account required.

Choose a crop that keeps your subject visible

The image is center-cropped to fill a square canvas. If your subject is off-center, use Crop Image first to choose the area you want. Circular mode clips the photo inside that square and fills the outside corners with your chosen background color.

Choose an avatar size and format

The default is 512 × 512 pixels, with sizes from 64 to 4096 pixels. PNG is a useful general-purpose choice; WebP can produce a smaller file where the destination accepts it. Check the account or website's upload requirements before choosing the final size.

Does this generate an AI headshot?

No. It crops and resizes the photo you choose. It does not generate a new face, outfit, or scene.

Are the outside corners transparent in circular mode?

No. The outside corners use the Background color you select. For a rectangular image with transparent rounded corners, use Round Image Corners.

How can I correct a mirrored profile photo?

Use Flip Image to reverse the photo horizontally, then bring the corrected image back to this tool.
