Resize a video to the pixel dimensions you need

Set an exact output width and height for a short video. Use smaller dimensions for a screen recording, presentation, or shared clip, then preview and download the result. Processing runs in your browser, with no account or server-side video upload.

Keep the same proportions when resizing

This tool applies the width and height you enter directly. A 16:9 video can use 1280 × 720 or 960 × 540 without changing its shape. For a 9:16 portrait video, use a matching pair such as 720 × 1280. Setting a square output for a widescreen source will stretch the image; this tool does not add padding or automatically crop it.

  • Enter dimensions from 160 to 1920 pixels on each side.
  • Use even dimensions for reliable video encoding.
  • Increasing dimensions enlarges existing pixels; it does not recover missing detail.

Resizing pixels versus reducing file size

Width and height describe the video frame, while MB describes the file size. Smaller dimensions can reduce the file size, but the output is also affected by re-encoding and the audio track. If your main goal is fewer MB, try Compress Video for quality presets and an option to keep the original when compression would make it larger.
